Scientific Facts in the Light of Quran

Science and religion are both inevitable parts of human life, especially for the followers of Islam, because the Quran is also based on scientific facts. The Quran is not a book of science, but it is a book of signs (i.e., Ayats).
There are more than 6000 signs in the Quran, of which more than a thousand deal with hardcore science.
We believe that the Quran is the last and final revelation of Allah, the miracle of miracles, revealed as mercy for mankind. Therefore, let us investigate the attribute of the presence of scientific facts in the Quran because scientific facts are mingled with Islamic facts. We cannot understand them by separating them.
The creation of the universe is explained by astrophysicists as a widely accepted phenomenon popularly known as "The Big Bang" theory. According to the Big Bang theory, the whole universe initially was one big mass, and then there was a big bang which resulted in the formation of galaxies. The Quran contains the following verse regarding the origin of the universe. Allah says in the Quran:
أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًۭا فَفَتَقْنَـٰهُمَا ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ٣٠
“Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were ˹once˺ one mass then We split them apart? And We created from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?”Likewise, it was believed by earlier civilizations that the moon emanates its own light. Now, science tells us the light of the moon is reflected light. However, this fact was mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago. Allah says in the Quran:
تَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ بُرُوجًۭا وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا سِرَٰجًۭا وَقَمَرًۭا مُّنِيرًۭا ٦١
“Blessed is the One Who has placed constellations in the sky, as well as a ˹radiant˺ lamp1 and a luminous moon.”Not only in Astronomy, but the Quran provides ample signs in many other areas of science. One of them is zoology. The Quran says that the animals and birds live in communities, a fact that has recently been observed. Allah says:
وَمَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَـٰٓئِرٍۢ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّآ أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُم ۚ مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ مِن شَىْءٍۢ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَ
“All living beings roaming the earth and winged birds soaring in the sky are communities like yourselves.1 We have left nothing out of the Record. Then to their Lord they will be gathered all together.”When it comes to embryology, Moore said that most of the information concerning embryology in the Quran and in the Hadith is compatible with modern discoveries in the field of embryology and does not conflict with them in any way.
Even the first sense organ to develop in a developing human embryo is hearing. The fetus can hear sounds after the 24th week, subsequently, the sense of sight is developed, and by the 25th week, the retina becomes sensitive to light. The Quran explains it:
ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِۦ ۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ ٩
“then He fashioned them and had a spirit of His Own ˹creation˺ breathed into them. And He gave you hearing, sight, and intellect. ˹Yet˺ you hardly give any thanks.”Geologists tell us that the earth's crust on which we live is very thin. Since the crust is thin, it has a high possibility of shaking, but mountains act as stakes or tent pegs that hold the earth's crust and give it stability. Allah says in the Quran:
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِهَـٰدًۭا ٦ وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًۭا ٧
“Have We not smoothed out the earth ˹like a bed˺, and ˹made˺ the mountains as ˹its˺ pegs.”To attribute the presence of scientific facts in the Quran to coincidence would be against common sense and a true scientific approach. Indeed, the scientific accuracy of Quranic verses confirms the Quran's open declaration. So the scientific evidence of the Quran clearly proves its divine origin. No human could have produced a book 1400 years ago that would contain such profound scientific facts.
